Position Overview
SP Management Group Riga is seeking qualified marine engineers for positions on a general cargo vessel. The vessel will be available for boarding in the second half of April (specific location not indicated). This is a rotational maritime contract with a schedule of 2 months on board / 2 months on leave.
Salary Details
- Chief Engineer: €8,700 per month
- Second Engineer: €7,000 per month

Required Qualifications
- Merchant Marine Engineering Officer qualification with specialisation corresponding to the position

Requirements
- European Union (EU) nationality
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for the corresponding position

Responsibilities
- Chief Engineer: Responsible for the engine department, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, management of fuel and lubricants, compliance with MARPOL and SOLAS regulations
- Second Engineer: Assistance to the Chief Engineer, supervision of daily engine operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, management of technical inventories
