Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer for an oil/chemical tanker equipped with steam turbines. The selected person will be responsible for supervising and maintaining the propulsion systems and machinery of the ship, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must have previous experience on similar vessels, preferably with knowledge of B&W machinery. A solid technical background in mechanical or maritime engineering is desirable, along with the ability to manage teams and effectively solve operational problems.
