Description: We are looking for a Chief Engineer (CE) to join general cargo ships in a solid and stable company. The role involves supervising and managing the technical operations of the engine room, ensuring effective maintenance and equipment operability. This opportunity is perfect for those interested in working in the general cargo sector.
Requirements and qualifications: – Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency. – Valid STCW certificates. – Valid medical certificate. – Good level of English.
Additional details: – Salary: £7500 plus taxes in Latvia. – Contract duration: 12 weeks +/- 1 week. – Planned start date: mid-April 2025. – Crew nationalities: Mixed (NL, UKR, EU, PHL). – Operating area: Northern Europe.
