Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a Self-Propelled Jack Up DP2 Barge operating in KSA (Saudi Arabia). This position offers a competitive daily rate with a structured rotation schedule.

Offer Details

  • Salary: 900 USD per day
  • Location: KSA (Saudi Arabia)
  • Contract: 60 days on board / 60 days off rotation
  • Vessel Type: Self-Propelled Jack Up DP2 Barge
  • Hiring Company: Navis Crew Management
  • Required Training: Engineering Officer qualification and STCW certification
  • Benefits: Contract with 60/60 day rotation

Requirements

  • 24 months of actual on-board experience as Chief Engineer on a Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge
  • Valid Chief Engineer licence
  • Preferably candidates approved by ARAMCO

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the engine department and all propulsion and auxiliary machinery
  • Supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Management of spare parts and consumables inventory
  • Compliance with safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL)
  • Coordination with the Captain and other departments
  • Training and supervision of engine room personnel

  • Updated STCW certificates
  • Seaman’s book
  • Medical certificates
  • Valid passport
