Chief Engineer on Container Ship – International
Description of the position and key functions: The offer focuses on the position of Chief Engineer (CE) on board a container ship with a deadweight of 17,791 tonnes. The main responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining the propulsion systems and machinery of the vessel, ensuring optimal operation during maritime operations. In addition, efficient management of the onboard engineering team is expected, ensuring compliance with international maritime safety regulations and standards.
Requirements and qualifications: Accredited previous experience in the position of Chief Engineer on vessels of similar size. Citizenship of Ukraine, Lithuania, or Estonia. Ability to work in an international environment and closely with a German management.
Additional details: Salary: Between 7,800 and 8,300 USD per month. Contract duration: 4 months, starting on August 15, 2025. Benefits: Includes a re-joining bonus, loyalty bonus, modern fleet, and accelerated promotion.
