Description of the role and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a container ship with a deadweight of 11,464 tonnes (DWT). The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the onboard engineering team, ensuring the optimal functioning and maintenance of all ship systems, as well as safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must hold citizenship from Ukraine, Georgia, the European Union, or Turkey. Previous experience in a similar position is expected, along with the ability to effectively lead a technical team. Academic training and relevant certifications to perform the role of Chief Engineer on ships of this type are necessary.

Additional details: The contract is for a duration of 4 months, starting on January 5, 2026. A competitive salary between £10,000 and £10,500 is offered.
