ORCA Crew Services is looking for a Chief Engineer available to join a Ferry/Cargo ship in Canada. The ideal candidate should be prepared to handle both daily operations and complex situations related to the maintenance and operation of the ship. Previous experience in dry docks and team management from a shore base will be highly valued.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience in passenger and cargo ships.
  • Advanced knowledge of main engines MAN Energy Solutions and generators Volvo Penta.
  • Demonstrable competence in dry dock handling and team management onshore.

Additional Details:

  • Start Date: 16th December 2025.
  • Contract Duration: 6 weeks.
  • Rotation: 6 weeks of work followed by 6 weeks off.
