Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for an FSV (Field Support Vessel) operating in Equatorial Guinea. The role requires expertise in Dynamic Positioning (DP) system maintenance and jet propulsion systems. This is a rotational position with a competitive daily rate.

Offer Details

  • Salary: 300 USD/day
  • Location: Equatorial Guinea (operational area)
  • Contract: Rotation of 8 weeks on board / 8 weeks on shore

  • Required Qualification: First Class Engineer Officer (Chief Engineer) certificate recognised under STCW

Requirements

  • Experience with jet propulsion systems
  • Experience in maintaining Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems
  • Immediate availability (ASAP)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the vessel’s engine department
  • Supervision and maintenance of jet propulsion systems
  • Management of the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system
  • Compliance with STCW and SOLAS regulations in the engine room
  • Coordination with the Captain and other officers
