Description of the position and key functions: The offer is aimed at Chief Engineers (CH ENGs) to operate on a general cargo ship with a deadweight tonnage of 5690. Selected candidates will be responsible for managing and supervising the optimal operation of the ship’s mechanical and electrical systems under the UK flag, ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards. The work will take place in European waters and will last for a period of 6 to 8 weeks.
Requirements and qualifications: Demonstrable experience as a Chief Engineer on cargo ships. Accredited training in maritime engineering or related studies. Competencies in maintenance and repair of naval machinery. Knowledge of international maritime safety standards.
Additional details: A competitive salary of £9,000 per month is offered. The contract duration is 6 to 8 weeks, with the possibility of working in different European locations.
