Description of the position and key functions: A Chief Officer is required for an offshore support vessel (OSV) with fixed pitch propeller (FPP) equipped with Kawasaki and Caterpillar engines. Key functions include managing towing maneuvers and anchor handling in coordination with the captain and crew. Experience in non-DP maritime operations is required.
Requirements and qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Chief Officer rank on a similar vessel.
– Experience in towing and anchor handling.
– Required certificates: ECDIS, ARPA, SSO, BRM, MEFA, MECA, and safety training in accordance with STCW.
– Marlins English test: minimum score of 80% overall.
– Important: all documents must be valid for more than one year.
– Valid/active visas for KSA and UAE are not required.
