Description of the Position and Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a Chief Officer for a modern container ship with the flag of Liberia, built in 2015. The 90,000 GT vessel is equipped with a MAN-B&W engine of 50,000 KW. Responsibilities include overseeing all deck operations, managing the deck team, and coordinating loading and unloading operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in similar positions within the merchant navy is required, preferably on container ships. Adequate professional training and competence in team management and offshore operations. Knowledge of international navigation regulations and maritime safety is essential.
Additional Details: The joining date is scheduled for 9th July 2025. The contract will be for a duration of 4 months, with a negotiable salary. We are seeking a professional with strong leadership and organizational skills.
