Amergo Group is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for a general cargo vessel of 5,000 DWT built in 2009. This position offers a competitive salary of £5,300 for a contract duration of 5 +/- 1 month. Immediate joining is required.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Officer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on board, ensuring safety and efficiency in all vessel maneuvers. They will coordinate and lead the deck team, maintaining operational readiness and compliance with maritime regulations. The individual is expected to manage cargo loading and unloading safely and efficiently, as well as assist the Captain in all necessary duties.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the role of Chief Officer.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Relevant certifications and training for the position.
- Ability to lead and work within a team.
