AMERGO GROUP is looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join a general cargo vessel with a DWT of 6000. The joining date is planned for early May 2025. The contract duration is 3 months, with the possibility of a +/-1 month extension.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on board the general cargo vessel, ensuring safety and efficiency in all activities. This includes cargo management, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with the captain and other officers to ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Chief Officer rank.
- Proficient in English.
- Citizenship from one of the following countries: Belgium, China, Cyprus, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Scotland.
