Description of the role and key responsibilities: An experienced Chief Officer is required for a general cargo ship named GREEN POLE, built in 2011 with a deadweight of 7138 tonnes. The Chief Officer’s duties involve overseeing cargo operations, maintaining deck equipment, and managing onboard safety. The candidate will be part of a team consisting of various roles, including MST, WOFF, and two ABs and OSs.
Requirements and qualifications: This position is exclusively open to candidates of Ukrainian nationality (Only UKR). Previous experience in similar roles and knowledge of equipment such as the Furuno 3100 ECDIS are valued. Essential skills in crane management are required, specifically for two cranes of 80 tonnes each with a tandem capacity of 160 tonnes.
