Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for an experienced cook to work on board a bulker-type cargo ship. The main responsibilities include preparing daily meals for the crew, managing food supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. The ship has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 82,000 and was built in 2019.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a cook on cargo ships or similar vessels is required. Ability to work in a team and time management skills are necessary. Knowledge of onboard food safety and health practices. Candidates must be Ukrainian citizens, as the crew is exclusively composed of Ukrainians.
Additional details: Joining date: 20/06/2025. The contract duration is 4 months, with the possibility of a 2-month extension. The offer includes a monthly salary of 2200 USD, and employment is proposed at no cost to the candidates.
