Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Cook to join a Walk to Work (W2W) crew transfer vessel operating in UK waters. This role involves providing high-quality catering services to the vessel’s crew during offshore operations.

Offer Details

• Salary: £250 per day
• Location: United Kingdom (UK work permit required)
• Contract: Rotational (2 weeks on, 3 weeks off, 2 weeks on)
• Vessel Type: Walk to Work (W2W) Crew Transfer Vessel
• Contracting Company: Offshore Operations Ltd
• Required Training: Professional culinary training or demonstrable equivalent experience. Food handling and food safety certification (HACCP) required.

Requirements

• UK nationality or valid UK work permit
• Experience as a Cook in the maritime sector (preferably on offshore vessels)
• Updated Basic Safety Training certificate (STCW)
• Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (in accordance with UK regulations)
• Ability to work on a 2/3/2 rotational schedule

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all meals for the W2W vessel crew
• Management of food inventory and kitchen supplies
• Maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with HACCP regulations
• Planning of balanced menus considering the nutritional needs of the crew during offshore operations
• Coordination with the Chief Steward for meal service
