Position Overview

Multiple crew positions available for PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) and AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels with DP2 (Dynamic Positioning Level 2) systems operating in the Qatar zone. Positions include Captain, Chief Engineer, First Officer, and Second Engineer.

Offer Details

• Salary: Captain: $425-450/day, Chief Engineer: $350-370/day, First Officer: $325-350/day, Second Engineer: $250/day (for first contract, subject to experience and Qatar Gas approval)
• Location: Qatar zone (on PSV/AHTS DP2 vessels)
• Contract: 3-month onboard contract with flexible rotation (3 months on/off)
• Vessel Type: PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) / AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) with DP2 (Dynamic Positioning Level 2)
• Hiring Company: Caspian Marine Agency
• Required Training: Nautical training corresponding to the position and required certificate
• Benefits: Flexible 3-month on/off rotation, opportunity to work in Qatar zone

Requirements

• Certificate of Competency (COC) holder of Ukrainian, Russian, or Azerbaijani nationality (valid COC)
• Maximum age: 60 years
• Captain and Chief Engineer: 3 years of experience on AHTS/PSV DP vessels
• First Officer and Second Engineer: 2 years of experience on AHTS/PSV DP vessels

Responsibilities

According to STCW, typical functions include:

• Captain: Overall responsibility for navigation, safety, and operations
• Chief Engineer: Supervision of engine department and maintenance
• First Officer: Assistance to Captain in navigation and deck operations
• Second Engineer: Support to Chief Engineer in maintenance and technical operations

Required Documentation

• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) from Ukraine, Russia, or Azerbaijan
• Updated CV
• Documentation of experience on PSV/AHTS DP vessels
