- Previous experience on container vessels (implied by vessel type)
Responsibilities
- Typical Deck Officer (CO) functions according to STCW: supervision of deck operations, navigation, container loading/unloading, maintenance of deck equipment, compliance with safety (SOLAS) and environmental regulations
- Management of deck crew under the direction of the Captain
- Watchkeeping and surveillance during navigation

- Certificate of Competency (CoC)

- Updated medical and STCW training certificates
