Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Deck Officer to serve on board a Bulk Carrier named MAR, built in 2011 with a DWT of 6708. The crew is composed of members of different nationalities. Responsibilities include supervising daily deck operations, maintaining safety, and complying with operational procedures during the 2-month journey. Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory, with a minimum of 2 work contracts, and experience on the same type of vessel. A good level of English is required for effective communication on board. Additional details: The offered salary is £7,500 per month with an additional bonus of £300, totaling £7,800 monthly.
