Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Deck Officer (OOW) for a temporary assignment aboard a Multicat vessel, supporting special operations and projects. This role requires a certified officer with the ability to perform both bridge duties and assist with deck work as needed.

  • Salary: £263/day + £25/day subsistence allowance
  • Location: Plymouth / Portland (United Kingdom) for embarkation, with worldwide operations
  • Contract: Temporary contract from 27 March to 29 April

Requirements

  • British citizenship
  • Certificate of Competence (CoC) OOW Unlimited (minimum requirement)

Responsibilities

  • Perform deck officer duties in accordance with STCW, including navigation watches and safety procedures
  • Supervise deck operations and vessel manoeuvres
  • Assist with general deck work as required by project needs
  • Operate specialised equipment such as cranes, if certified
  • Collaborate on maintenance and welding tasks, as applicable
