We are seeking an experienced Deck Officer/SDPO for an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is a contract position with Navis Ship Management offering competitive daily rates for qualified candidates.

Requirements
- Master License (Captain’s License)
- DP Full certificate (Dynamic Positioning)
- Minimum 24 months of actual sea service in the rank of Deck Officer/SDPO on similar vessels
- ADNOC-approved candidates are preferred
- Valid medical certificate
- Marlins test with minimum score of 80% in all sections
Responsibilities
According to STCW, typical Deck Officer functions include: supervision of deck operations, responsibility for vessel navigation and safety, management of deck crew, and compliance with international regulations. As SDPO, specific responsibilities are added for handling the dynamic positioning system during offshore operations.
