Deck Sailor on AHT Vessel – Offshore Project in Denmark
WishToSail.com is looking for a Deck Sailor with experience to join a short-term project on board an Anchor Handling Tug (AHT) in Danish waters. This professional will support key operations such as towing, dredging, and anchor handling.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will assist in anchor handling, maneuvers, and towing operations. They will also support dredging activities, carry out general deck tasks, follow safety procedures, and participate in drills. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintenance, watch duties, operate deck equipment, and secure cargo as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
– Valid STCW Deck Sailor certificate (II/5)
– Relevant STCW training certificates
– Valid navigation book, passport, and medical clearance
– At least 1 year of offshore experience on AHT vessels or similar
– Good physical condition and readiness to work offshore
– Proficient in English
– Valid BSN required before project commencement, in accordance with Dutch tax regulations
