Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Deckhand (AB) and Motorman for a Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating under the Norwegian International Ship (NIS) flag. This is a rotational contract position with a salary of €4,983 per month (onboard only). The vessel operates globally, and the successful candidate will join a 6-week rotation schedule.

Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates: VI/1 Basic Safety Training, VI/6.2 Security Awareness (or VI/6.4 for security functions), VI/2.1 Lifeboat
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Good level of English (Marlins test)
- EU nationality (advantage)
- For AB: Additional advantageous courses (Fast Rescue Boat, Banksman & Slinger, B1 OCS Visa, Working at Heights)
Functions
According to STCW, typical functions for a Deckhand (AB) include: navigation watches, manoeuvres, deck maintenance, loading/unloading operations, and safety. For Motorman: assistance in the engine room, basic maintenance of engines and auxiliary systems, and equipment supervision under the direction of the Chief Engineer.
