Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Deckhand (Able Seaman – AB) to join the crew of a self-propelled jack-up vessel operating in UK waters. This is a temporary contract position with a 60 days on/off rotation schedule, typical in the offshore sector as regulated by the MLC 2006, which governs service and rest periods.

Requirements
- Certificate of Competency (COC) as Deckhand (Able Seaman – AB)

- Valid Seaman’s Book
- Valid passport
- Current maritime medical certificate
Responsibilities
- According to STCW, typical Deckhand duties include: navigation watches, berthing/unberthing manoeuvres, deck maintenance, operation of loading/unloading equipment, painting and preservation work, and participation in safety drills.
- On specialised jack-up vessels: operation of leg elevation systems, support in offshore operations, and specific platform work.
