Responsibilities

• According to STCW, typical Deckhand duties include: navigation watches, berthing/unberthing manoeuvres, deck maintenance, operation of loading/unloading equipment, painting and preservation work, and participation in safety drills.
• On specialised jack-up vessels: operation of leg elevation systems, support in offshore operations, and specific platform work.
