Requirements
Previous experience on chemical/oil tankers is required, along with an accredited level of English through the Marlins test with a score of 85% or higher, and EU nationality or residence in Europe.
Responsibilities
According to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Deckhand on a chemical/oil tanker include assisting in loading and unloading operations, maintenance of decks and equipment, and other support tasks for the deck crew.
