Full description

Faststream is recruiting a Master for an offshore wind project starting in November. The role involves joining a modern DP2 Construction Support Vessel (CSOV) for a nine-month assignment in UK waters. The package offers a four-week on / four-week off rotation, with monthly salary paid on and off rotation. All travel is arranged and paid for, and pay is processed through PAYE. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience, particularly with an offshore wind background. A UK work permit or UK residency is required. The project offers nine months of guaranteed work. Under STCW, the Master is responsible for the command and navigation of the vessel, the safety of the crew and compliance with international regulations. On a CSOV, the Master also coordinates construction support operations and the maintenance of offshore wind installations, ensuring the vessel's operability in dynamic positioning conditions.
