Aura Sea is pleased to present an opening for a Chief Engineer aboard a Bulk Carrier. The vessel has a deadweight of 82,654 DWT and a gross tonnage of 43,152 GT, was built in 2009 and flies the flag of Cyprus. It measures 229 metres in length overall and 32.26 metres in beam, with a mixed crew. Trading does not include calls to Ukraine or Russia. The contract duration is 4 months ±1, with joining in early November 2026. The salary offered is USD 9,900 per month. Qualified Ukrainian Chief Engineers are invited to apply. Age limit is up to 55.
As Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engine department, supervising the operation and maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and ensuring compliance with international regulations, including STCW and environmental and safety standards. Under STCW, typical duties include managing departmental resources, planning maintenance schedules and responding to emergencies. The role requires strong leadership and technical skills.
