An AB/Crane Operator with Stage 3 or G5 certification is required to join an offshore support vessel in Norway. The contract will last 2-3 weeks, starting on 2 November 2026. Salary is not specified in the offer.
The candidate must hold a Crane Operator Stage 3 or G5 certificate, as well as an AB certificate. Essential requirements include STCW Basic Safety Training, STCW medical certificate (OGUK is not acceptable), Security Duties training, previous employment appraisal form, copy of Seaman's Book, Slinger and Banksman certificate, and HUET certificate.
According to STCW, typical duties include operating cranes and lifting equipment, as well as deck tasks typical of an AB. The vessel operates in Norwegian waters, so compliance with Norwegian and international regulations is required.
