Select Offshore is seeking an Able Seafarer (AB) holding a Basic Safety Training certificate (FWP) to join a jack-up drilling rig with a start date of 9th November. The contract will run for approximately 6 to 8 weeks and is open only to EU nationals.
Requirements include the right to work in the UK, previous jack-up experience, a GWO working-at-height certificate and passing the Chester Step test. Under STCW, the Able Seafarer carries out deck watches, cargo handling operations and maintenance tasks under the supervision of the deck officer, always complying with the safety rules applicable to offshore operations.
