We are currently seeking a Cook to join a platform supply vessel (PSV) operating in European waters. The contract will last between 3 and 5 weeks, with mobilisation scheduled for 27 October 2026, and the candidate must be available for the full 5 weeks if required. Remuneration is on a day rate basis, subject to UK tax and National Insurance deductions.
The role requires holding a Ships Cook CoC, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and the STCW Designated Security Duties certificate, along with previous experience on board UK or EU flagged offshore vessels. Under the STCW Convention, the cook must be trained in food safety and emergency procedures, and the MLC 2006 ensures adequate accommodation and catering standards. Typical duties include preparing meals for the crew, managing the galley stores and complying with on-board hygiene and safety regulations.
