Select Offshore is seeking a Bosun to join upcoming projects on jack-up drilling rigs within the European Union. The vacancy is restricted to EU nationals and requires extensive prior experience on this type of unit, with particular value placed on knowledge of deck operations and equipment specific to jack-up rigs.
Under the STCW Convention, the Bosun is responsible for leading the deck crew, organising watches and overseeing the maintenance of deck and mooring equipment. On jack-up units, the Bosun also coordinates lifting and transfer operations and works alongside other departments to ensure the safety of all operations.
The contract will be project-based, with the specific terms and duration agreed at interview. This is an opportunity for professionals with solid offshore experience who wish to work in European waters.
