A Master is required to join a bunker tanker on a 2-month contract. The salary offered is 380 to 400 USD per day, equivalent to approximately 11,400 - 12,000 USD per month. Joining is ASAP.
The candidate must have good rank experience on similar tanker vessels and strong bunkering or oil tanker experience is mandatory. Good English is also required.
Under the STCW Convention, the Master is responsible for the safety of the ship, crew and cargo, as well as compliance with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006). On tankers, the Master must supervise cargo operations and ensure the training and drill of the crew in emergency procedures.
