We are looking for Ukrainian Second Engineers to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The contract duration is 4 months, with the possibility of a 1-month extension at the Owner's option. The joining date is scheduled for early November.
The offered salary is 9,500 USD net per month, plus a bonus. Experience with MAN engines is mandatory. The hiring company is Aquaracer Marine.
Under the STCW Convention, the Second Engineer is the officer responsible for the engine watch and for supervising the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery, under the authority of the Chief Engineer. On chemical tankers, specific training in safety and handling of dangerous cargoes is also required in accordance with the IMDG Code and SOLAS Convention.
