Full description

A Master is required to join an expedition vessel, with joining expected in February. The contract will run for 3 months, plus or minus 1 month, and the salary on offer ranges from 15,000 to 16,000 USD per month. A good command of English and proven experience in the rank are required. Under the STCW Convention, the Master holds command of the ship and is responsible for its navigation, the safety of the crew and passengers, and compliance with international maritime regulations. On an expedition vessel, these duties are combined with passage planning in remote areas and the coordination of the passenger operations typical of this type of ship.
