Position Overview

Immediate opportunity for a DPO Captain to join an AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) DP2 vessel operating in Saudi Arabia under ARAMCO contracts. This is a 120-day contract position with Ryan Ship Management Pvt Ltd.

Requirements

  • 24 months of experience as a DPO Captain on AHTS DP2 vessels
  • Immediate availability
  • Valid STCW documentation (including DPO DP2 certification)
  • Merchant Marine Captain’s license

Responsibilities

  • Command and navigation of the AHTS DP2 vessel
  • Operations with dynamic positioning system (DP2)
  • Crew management and onboard safety
  • Compliance with ARAMCO protocols (specific safety and operational procedure training typically required for ARAMCO operations)

Required Documentation

  • Updated CV
  • STCW certificates (including DPO DP2)
  • Seaman’s book
  • Medical certificates (as per MLC 2006 convention, medical fitness certificate for seafaring is required)
