Position Overview

We are seeking a DPO Captain for a PSV DP2 (Platform Supply Vessel with Dynamic Positioning System class 2) on a 120-day contract in Saudi Arabia, working for ARAMCO. Requirements

  • STCW II/2 Certificate of Competency (Captain)
  • DP Unlimited Certificate
  • 24 months of experience as a DPO Captain on DP2 AHTS/PSV vessels
  • Nationality from one of the permitted countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon

Responsibilities

  • Command and overall responsibility of the PSV DP2 vessel
  • Operation of the class 2 dynamic positioning (DP) system
  • Management of crew and deck operations
  • Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Coordination with offshore platform operations (ARAMCO)

  • Medical certificates (including psychophysical fitness)
