Electrical Technician Officer for DP2 Seismic Research Support Vessel – Scotland
Description of the position and key functions: The offer is aimed at a qualified Electrical Technician Officer (ETO) to work on a DP2 seismic research support vessel. These types of vessels are usually involved in specialized operations such as deep-sea research, support for remotely operated vehicles (ROV), and diving support vessels (DSV). Typical responsibilities include maintenance and installation of electrical and electronic systems on board, ensuring the proper functioning of technical equipment during maritime operations.
Requirements and qualifications: Right to work in the United Kingdom. Previous experience on similar offshore vessels, such as DSVs, ROV support, and SSVs. Yellow fever vaccination.
Additional details: The contract is expected to start at the end of March. The rotation will be 6 weeks of work followed by 6 weeks off. The work area will be Scotland.
