Requirements

Responsibilities
Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of an Electro-Technical Officer on a general cargo vessel include the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems, ensuring the proper functioning of navigation and communication equipment, as well as managing power and electrical distribution systems.
