Requirements
24 months of experience as an ETO on a Barge Jack-Up Self-Propelled. Candidates of various nationalities are accepted, including Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Honduras, India, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Ghana, Montenegro, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon.
Responsibilities
Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) on a Barge Jack-Up Self-Propelled include the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems, ensuring the operability of communication and navigation systems, and assisting in the management of energy on board.
