Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join the crew of a bulk carrier vessel. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on a globally trading vessel with a mixed crew.

Offer Details

• Salary: 5200 USD per month
• Location: Bulk carrier vessel, Marshall Islands flag, worldwide trading area
• Contract: 5-month contract (+/-1 month)
• Vessel Type: Bulk Carrier
• Contracting Company: Seacover UA
• Required Training: Training as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with STCW certification and recognised certificate of competency
• Benefits: 5-month contract with possible extension, mixed crew, worldwide trading area

Requirements

• Ukrainian nationality
• Age limit: 48 years
• Minimum 10 months of experience in the ETO rank
• Minimum 2 contracts as ETO on bulk carrier vessels
• Stable work history
• Good English language skills
• Experience with mixed crews
• Interview required for all ranks

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the vessel’s electrical, electronic and control systems
• Maintenance and repair of electrical and automation equipment
• Supervision of power systems and electrical distribution
• Management of technical documentation and electrical maintenance records
• Collaboration with engine and deck departments in technical operations
