Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for a refrigerated cargo vessel (Reefer/Juice Carrier). The position offers a competitive salary with additional benefits and operates on a rotational contract basis.
Offer Details
- Salary: 5962 USD/month (plus a 30% standby/re-embarkation bonus of the base salary, approximately 1000 USD)
- Location: Embarkation in Santos (Brazil), with navigation area covering South America, USA, and EU
- Contract: 4 months on board / 2 months off rotation (-1/+1)
- Vessel Type: Refrigerated cargo vessel (Reefer/Juice Carrier)
- Contracting Company: Seacover UA
- Required Training: Certificate of Competency (COC) as Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with END III/6 or III/7 specialisation
- Benefits: 30% standby/re-embarkation bonus of base salary (approximately 1000 USD)
Requirements
- Ukrainian nationality
- Age limit: 55 years
- Position experience: minimum 12 months
- Previous stable experience in the position on tankers, reefers, container ships or other vessels of at least 10000 DWT
- Experience with mixed crew
- Fluent English
- Complete COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid USA C1-D1 visa
Responsibilities
According to STCW, the typical functions of an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) include: maintenance and repair of the vessel’s electrical, electronic and control systems, supervision of the electrical plant, cargo refrigeration systems (critical on reefer vessels), automation, and compliance with safety regulations.
