Electro Technical Officer for AHTS in Qatar – £250/day
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on board an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel in Qatar. The main functions include the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems on board, ensuring the correct operation of the vessel in non-DP (Dynamic Positioning) operations.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 24 months of experience in the same rank on similar vessels such as AHTS or Platform Supply Vessel (PSV). Experience with Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) systems is considered an advantage. Approval to work in Qatar is valued, as well as experience in Diesel Electric systems. Knowledge of DP maintenance and having a DP Log Book are a plus. A good level of English is essential.
Additional details: The contract is for a duration of 90 days on continuous rotation. The joining date is scheduled as soon as possible. The offered salary is £250 per day.
