Job description and key responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to work aboard a General Cargo (GC) vessel. Previous experience on this type of vessel or Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD) is required. The main responsibilities will include supervising all machinery operations on board, ensuring the efficiency and safety of the technical team, as well as coordinating with other crew members for maintenance and repair of the ship’s systems.

Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience on GC vessels or TSHD. High technical qualification in maritime machinery operation. Ability to work hard and in a team.

Additional details: An 8-week contract is offered with a salary of £210 per day. The start date is scheduled for June 13th in the Suriname region. We are looking for a qualified and hardworking candidate, committed to excellence in their role.
