Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified First Officer for a Dedicated Service Vessel (DSV) operating offshore in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This position offers a competitive daily rate with an additional ADNOC approval allowance.

Offer Details

  • Salary: $190/day ($160 base + $30 ADNOC approval allowance after final approval)
  • Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
  • Contract: Rotation: 2+/-1 months on board / 1 month ashore (unpaid)
  • Vessel Type: Dedicated Service Vessel (DSV) – offshore type
  • Contracting Company: MARPO
  • Required Certification: Unlimited National Yacht Master (COC)
  • Benefits: ADNOC approval allowance of $30/day after final approval

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as First Officer on offshore vessels
  • At least 6 months of experience on the same type of vessel (DSV)
  • Unlimited National Yacht Master (COC)

Responsibilities

According to STCW, the typical functions of a First Officer include: supervision of deck operations, responsibility for vessel safety, management of loading and unloading operations, maintenance of navigation equipment, and support to the Captain in administrative and operational tasks.
