We are seeking a qualified Fourth Engineer (4/E) to join modern LNG Carriers (Liquefied Natural Gas) within a global fleet. This position offers a stable rotational contract with a reputable crewing agency.

Offer Details

• Contract: Rotational contract of 3 months on board / 3 months on leave

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the rank of Fourth Engineer (4/E) on LNG Carriers

• Experience with XDF (eXhaust Gas Diesel) or MEGI (Mitsui Electronically Controlled Gas Injection) propulsion systems

Responsibilities

• According to STCW and standard industry practices, the typical functions of a 4/E on LNG vessels include: assisting the Chief Engineer and other officers in the operation and maintenance of the propulsion and auxiliary plant, supervising LNG loading/unloading systems, controlling low-temperature equipment, and complying with specific safety standards for gas carriers.

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for the rank
• Medical documentation (certificate of physical fitness)
