Requirements
- Previous experience as Fourth Engineer or similar position
- Updated STCW certifications
- Valid engine officer certificate of competency
- Proper medical documentation
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and senior officers in the operation and maintenance of the propulsion plant and auxiliary systems
- Supervise machinery operation under the direction of the Second Engineer
- Perform engine room watches according to the established watch schedule
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of engine room equipment
- Maintain operation and maintenance records according to company procedures
