Barklav is seeking a Gangway Operator to join the modern fleet of offshore W2W vessels operating in the North Sea.

  • Required Documentation: Valid Level 3 Crane Operator Certificate, Valid First Class Bridge Seafarer Licence

Requirements

Previous experience as a Gangway Operator and AB / Crane Operator is required, along with a valid Level 3 Crane Operator Certificate and a valid First Class Bridge Seafarer Licence.

Responsibilities

According to the international STCW convention, typical duties of a Gangway Operator on an offshore vessel include the safe management of the gangway to ensure the safe boarding and disembarking of personnel, as well as coordination with the deck team and compliance with safety regulations.
