2nd Engineer for Container Ship – Amergo Group LLC – From May 2025 – Salary: £6,500 – £7,000
Description and key responsibilities: We are looking for a 2nd Engineer to fill a position on a container ship with a DWT of 8,000. The main responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the propulsion systems and machinery of the ship, as well as assisting the Chief Engineer in all technical and maintenance operations on board.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the position of 2nd Engineer on similar vessels. Good level of English, both spoken and written.
Additional details: Start date from early May 2025. Competitive salary between £6,500 and £7,000 per month. Contract duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension +/- 1 month.
