Description of the position and key responsibilities: An urgent requirement for a Second Engineer (substitute) for a Feeder container vessel of 7532 TRB, built in 2007 and flying the flag of Portugal. This role involves the responsibility for the maintenance and operation of the main engine MAK 9M43C of 7000 kW, ensuring the optimal functioning of onboard systems, under the management of a German shipowner.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a Second Engineer on similar vessels. Accredited knowledge in handling the main engine MAK 9M43C. Immediate availability to join by August 30, 2025. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
