Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for an experienced Captain to command a refrigerated ship under the flag of Panama. Responsibilities include the overall management of the ship, ensuring safety and compliance with maritime regulations during navigation in European waters. The candidate is expected to ensure efficient and optimal operations of the ship, as well as effective leadership of the crew.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must hold a Captain’s license and have extensive experience in commanding refrigerated ships. Experience in navigation in Europe and familiarity with associated legal and operational requirements will be positively valued. Previous experience on ships with similar characteristics to GRT 146/DWT 15 will be considered an advantage.
Additional details: Competitive salary of £220 per day. Rotating contract of 2 months on board and 2 months off. Boarding scheduled for May 28, 2025. The ship was built in 1998 and renovated in 2019, ensuring modern and safe facilities.
